Happy first day of 2014!!

I had a great first day of the year! I hope all of you did too! 

I'm pretty proud of myself. Even though I had today off work (YAY!!) I still  got up, got dressed, put on full makeup (it was mostly playing around, but still.) Did some yoga, did some scripture reading, used the fancy "Will make your skin look a million times younger" face cream, did some shopping, and some cleaning... But the best thing that totally made me happy? I found my gold earring!!!! 

Guess what?! I found it!!! (On the bathroom floor, rolled into the corner, but I found it!)

I seem to have the hardest time with earrings. My ears think they are special. No cheap stuff for me. The surgical steel posts, nickle free, or "sensitive" earrings all give me problems. Even if I wear them for a limited time my ears swell up and get all itchy and burn. Fun times. It's easier to not wear earrings at all. 

As you can probably tell, I've been wanting a good pair of earrings for a while. My lovely sister Michelle gave me NICE gold earrings last year for Christmas. Totally sweet of her!! Then yesterday, I noticed one was missing! NOOOO!!! So sad... 

I'm so excited that after lots of soap and water and vats of rubbing alcohol I no longer look like a pirate with one earring!! I'm for reals super-gluing the backs on this time.

New Years Eve!

Happy New Year's Eve!!
I've been told by way too many people recently that I should start a blog.
How about that. What do we have here? A sad, empty blog, waiting for me to post something more than once a year?? Hmmm...

To all you people (you know who you are! Love u!) who are ever so gently nudging me to start, who not so secretly want to know all about my personal life in all it's awesome, silly, "girl I got a story for you" glory; And cause you think it's gonna be hilarious; I say to you, "Okay, Fine. You win." :)
So..... Since's the dawn of a new year, let's make 2014 the best year ever!!!

Some of my goals for 2014, not in any particular order, are:
* learn how to decorate cakes (random, I know)
*write in this blog more than once a year (obviously)
* finish a coding course for work
*be more organized
*be healthier
*make more crafts ('cause I love it!!)
*cook more and try out new recipes

It's September 30th... 

and we know what that means, Time to decorate for HALLOWEEN!!

I'm so excited about my first Halloween project.  It's still in the works, but I'll be posting it soon!
